Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mikapps Limited ("Mikapps", "we", "our", "us"), a limited company registered in Ireland, handles information in connection with our mobile applications for iPhone and Apple Watch and our website at mikapps.xyz.
This policy applies to PadelPro and TennisPro, and to any other application published by Mikapps Limited that links to this policy (each, an "App", together the "Apps"). Where an individual App handles data differently, that difference is described in this policy or in a separate policy linked from that App.
Mikapps Limited is the data controller for the limited personal data described below. You can reach us at info@mikapps.xyz.
The short version: The Apps work without an account. Your matches, statistics and player names are stored on your own device and, if you enable it, in your own private iCloud account. We operate no servers of our own and hold no database of your match data. The only data that reaches us is anonymous subscription information through Apple and RevenueCat, plus an advertising identifier if — and only if — you allow tracking when asked.
1. Information We Collect
Information We Do NOT Collect
- No account, registration, name, email address or phone number is required to use the Apps
- No location data
- No contacts, photos, camera or microphone access
- No health, fitness or workout data
- No third-party analytics SDKs and no advertising networks
- No cookies or tracking technologies inside the Apps
Data You Create in the App (Stored on Your Device)
The Apps store the following on your device using standard on-device storage:
- Match scores, match history and statistics
- Player and team names that you choose to type in
- App preferences and settings (scoring type, sets, games per set, timers, audio announcements)
- Local app state such as onboarding completion, free-trial usage counters, and whether you have responded to an in-app feedback or review prompt
We do not receive, see or store this data on our systems.
Player names are your responsibility. The Apps let you type in names to identify players. If you enter the name of another person, you are the one deciding to record that information, and you confirm that you are entitled to do so. We recommend using first names, initials or nicknames rather than full identifying details. Mikapps Limited has no access to these names and accepts no responsibility for information about third parties that you choose to enter, sync or share.
iCloud Sync (Optional, Your Own Account)
If you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud Drive is enabled for the App, the App can synchronise your data between your own Apple devices using Apple's iCloud services:
- iCloud Documents — your match files are stored in the App's private container in your iCloud Drive
- iCloud key-value storage — a small amount of app state such as your saved match settings, onboarding status and a record of matches you have deleted, so deletions propagate across your devices
This data stays inside your own Apple ID account. It is not sent to Mikapps Limited, and we have no ability to read, retrieve or restore it. Apple processes it as a data controller under Apple's Privacy Policy. You can turn this off at any time in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud, and any resulting loss of sync or data is outside our control.
Apple Watch Sync
Match data and settings move between your iPhone and your paired Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework — a direct, encrypted, device-to-device connection between two devices you own. This data does not pass through our systems.
Subscription and Purchase Data
If you subscribe to a paid plan, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and managed through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. In connection with subscriptions we or RevenueCat receive:
- An anonymous subscriber identifier generated by RevenueCat (not linked to your name)
- Subscription status, purchase, renewal and expiry events, and which product was purchased
- Device and app information such as device model, operating system version, App version, country and language
- The Identifier for Vendor (IDFV) — an Apple identifier scoped to our apps that resets when you delete them
- The Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) — only if you granted tracking permission (see below)
- Two simple flags: whether you allowed notifications, and whether you answered positively to our in-app "are you enjoying the app?" prompt
We do not receive your name, Apple ID, email address, billing address or payment details. Apple does not share these with us.
App Tracking Transparency
When you first open an App, iOS may ask whether you allow us to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. This is used to understand which channels players discover our Apps through.
- If you allow tracking, your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) is shared with RevenueCat for attribution and marketing measurement
- If you decline, no advertising identifier is collected or shared, and the App works exactly the same
- You can change your decision at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the Apps schedule occasional reminders locally on your device. We do not operate a push notification server and cannot send you messages remotely. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
If You Contact Us
If you email us for support or feedback, we receive your email address, whatever you write, and — where you use an in-app support button — your device's IDFV, which the App pre-fills to help us diagnose issues. That identifier does not tell us who you are. We use this only to answer you.
Sharing Match Images
The Apps can generate an image of your match or statistics. The image is created on your device, and you choose where to send it using the standard iOS share sheet. Once shared, that content is handled by the app or service you selected, under its own privacy policy and outside our control.
Our Website
mikapps.xyz is a static informational site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no accounts or forms. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site.
2. How We Use Your Information
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Match data, player names, statistics | Stored on your device and your iCloud to display your scores, history and statistics — never transmitted to us | Performance of our agreement with you |
| App settings and local state | Remember your preferences between sessions and across your devices | Performance of our agreement with you |
| Subscription status and anonymous subscriber ID | Unlock paid features, restore purchases, and prevent abuse of free trials | Performance of our agreement with you; our legitimate interest in preventing abuse |
| Device and app information | Understand which platforms and versions to support, and diagnose faults | Our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the Apps |
| Advertising identifier (IDFA) | Measure which marketing channels bring players to the Apps | Your consent, given through the App Tracking Transparency prompt |
| Notification and feedback flags | Avoid repeating prompts and decide when a re-engagement reminder is appropriate | Our legitimate interest in a non-intrusive experience |
| Support emails | Respond to your questions (only if you contact us) | Our legitimate interest in providing support |
We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share only what is described here:
| Recipient | What they receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Apple | Purchase and subscription transactions; iCloud data stored in your own account | App distribution, payment processing and iCloud sync, as an independent controller |
| RevenueCat | Anonymous subscriber ID, subscription events, device identifiers, and IDFA where you consented | Subscription management and purchase validation, as our processor |
| Hosting provider | Server logs for mikapps.xyz, including IP address | Delivering and securing our website |
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, court order or a valid request from a public authority, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Mikapps Limited, our users or the public. If our business or an app is sold, merged or otherwise transferred, information may be transferred as part of that transaction; this policy will continue to apply until the acquirer provides notice of any change.
International Transfers
RevenueCat and our website host are located in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Apple's transfers are governed by Apple's own privacy policy and safeguards.
Other Services and Links
The Apps and this website may link to services we do not control, including the App Store, Apple support pages and any app you choose from the iOS share sheet. We are not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of those services, and this policy does not apply to them.
4. Data Storage & Security
- Match data is stored locally on your device in the App's sandboxed storage, protected by iOS security and your device passcode and encryption
- If enabled, data is also stored in your own private iCloud container, encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest
- Data moves between your iPhone and Apple Watch over Apple's encrypted device-to-device connection
- Mikapps Limited operates no application servers and maintains no database of user match data
- Subscription data is held by Apple and RevenueCat on their own infrastructure, under their own security programmes
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect information, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and we are not responsible for unauthorised access resulting from a compromised device or Apple ID, from your choice to share a device, or from a failure, outage or breach of Apple, RevenueCat or another third-party service.
Keeping your device, passcode and Apple ID secure is your responsibility. Because your data lives on your device and in your iCloud account, we cannot back it up, recover it or restore it for you.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
- On your device: your data stays until you delete it. Remove individual matches inside the App, or delete everything by uninstalling the App
- In iCloud: deleting a match in the App also removes it from your iCloud container. Note that uninstalling an App does not by itself clear all iCloud data — you can remove it in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage
- Subscription records: Apple and RevenueCat retain transaction records for as long as they need for their own legal, tax and accounting obligations, under their own policies
We have no obligation to store or retain your match data and may not be able to help recover data that you or your devices have deleted.
6. Children's Privacy
The Apps are general-audience sports tools and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. In Ireland and other EEA countries where the digital age of consent is 16, anyone under that age should use the Apps only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for supervising that use. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR and other applicable laws, you may have the right to:
- Access your data — all match data is visible to you inside the App
- Rectify inaccurate data — edit match details and player names directly in the App
- Erase your data — delete matches in-app, uninstall the App, and clear its iCloud storage
- Restrict or object to processing — including processing based on our legitimate interests
- Data portability — your data is already held in your own device and iCloud storage
- Withdraw consent — turn off tracking or notifications in iOS Settings at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal
Because we hold no server-side copy of your data, most of these rights are satisfied automatically by the Apps' on-device architecture. For the limited anonymous subscription data held by RevenueCat, email us and we will pass your request on. As we do not collect information that identifies you, we may need you to supply the identifier shown in the App's support email to locate the relevant record; where we genuinely cannot identify you, we may be unable to action a request, as permitted under Article 11 GDPR.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including when we launch new apps under Mikapps Limited. Changes take effect when posted, and the "Last Updated" date at the top will be revised. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to highlight them in the Apps or on this website. Continued use of the Apps after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
